Title: Sr. Business Systems Analyst
Location: Remote - PT Hours
Duration: Initial 12 Months with Extensions
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders
We're looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst with strong, hands-on SAP Commissions (formerly Callidus TrueComp) experience. You'll join a core team that owns the design, development, support, and continuous improvement of our sales compensation platform.
This is a high-impact, highly visible role where your work directly influences how our sales teams are paid, how quickly we close the books, and how confidently leaders can rely on our revenue data.
What You'll Do
• Lead end-to-end requirements gathering for sales compensation initiatives.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications and user stories.
• Own UAT and QA, including test plans, test cases, regression testing, and validation.
• Partner with IT on integrations with Salesforce, ERP, payroll, and data platforms.
• Support production operations: issue triage, root-cause analysis, and system enhancements.
• Create clear documentation and deliver training for business stakeholders.
What we are looking for
Technical Skills
• 5+ years in Business Systems, Revenue Systems, or Compensation Systems analysis.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Commissions / Callidus TrueComp or similar (Xactly, Varicent, CaptivateIQ).
• Experience with integrations involving Salesforce, Snowflake, Anaplan, Workday, or similar CRM/ERP/data systems.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Functional Skills
• Deep understanding of end-to-end sales compensation processes (plans, quotas, credits, calculations, payouts).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to turn data into clear decisions.
• Expertise in test strategy and execution across unit, functional, and UAT cycles.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to SOX, finance controls, and audit requirements.
• High attention to detail, strong process discipline, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
Why You'll Love This Role
This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Technology. You will:
• Own a mission-critical system that directly impacts how sales teams are paid.
• Build a transparent, trusted compensation process that drives confidence and motivation.
• Enable timely, predictable financial closes and accurate revenue reporting.
• Provide executives with clear, data-driven visibility into performance.
• Work in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment where your expertise is seen and valued.
