Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP BO (Business Objects) Administrator / Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting SAP BusinessObjects (BO) environment, delivering business intelligence solutions, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless reporting and data access across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain SAP BusinessObjects (BO) platform in development, QA, and production environments.
• Manage and support SAP BO components: Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports, Universe Design Tool (UDT), Information Design Tool (IDT), Central Management Console (CMC), BI Launch Pad.
• Design, develop, and maintain universes, reports, dashboards, and data connections to support business users.
• Monitor SAP BO environment health and perform regular maintenance, patch upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Perform system performance tuning, security configuration, user access management, and backup/restore procedures.
• Work closely with Business Intelligence (BI) Analysts and Data Analysts to gather requirements and design effective reporting solutions.
• Support data integration between SAP BO and data sources (Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA).
• Implement scheduling and automation of report distribution using SAP BO tools.
• Provide technical support and resolve user issues in a timely manner.
• Document environment configurations, processes, and workflows for audit and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project implementation and system enhancements.
Must-Have Skills:
• Strong experience in SAP BusinessObjects Suite: Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Universe Design Tool (UDT), Information Design Tool (IDT), CMC.
• Good knowledge of SAP BO Architecture and Administration.
• Experience with configuring and maintaining SAP BO environments on Windows or Linux servers.
• Experience in integrating SAP BO with data sources like Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA.
• Strong SQL knowledge for universe development and report creation.
• Experience in report scheduling, bursting, and automation.
