Job description

Job Summary: The Project Manager is fully responsible for preparing and/or coordinating the preparation of full quantity estimates as required by customer documents and includes:
Essential Functions:
  • Establish performance timelines, delivery criteria, and coordinate installers
  • Contacting contractors, architects and designers to resolve issues with drawings or specifications after initial estimate
  • Working with manufacturer representatives to determine special product needs or requirements
  • Working independently and with fellow associates to determine necessary materials and quantities
  • Review construction documents and scope of work including specifications
  • Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle
  • Effectively manage project scope by ensuring changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request forms
  • Track and report on project timelines, milestones, budgets and provide status reports to management
  • Determine how results will be measured and complete a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved compared to estimate
  • Act as mediator between general contractor and Winn Tile employees
  • Using Callidus estimating software to prepare quantity analysis for material orders
Job Specifications:
Experience and Education
  • High school diploma or GED, college degree preferred
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office programs
  • Demonstrated ability to meet internal and external client commitments and timelines
  • Excellent communication amp; problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time, resources and workload
  • Extremely accurate and must be able to monitor own work amp; work of others
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage competing demands and is able to manage multiple jobs/tasks simultaneously, with frequent changes, delays and unexpected events
