Empire Home Remodeling is one of Wisconsin’s fastest-growing home improvement companies, known for exceptional customer experience, high-quality products, and a team culture built on integrity, communication, and results. We are expanding our Customer Experience Department and seeking a motivated, detail-driven Retention Specialist to help strengthen long-term customer relationships and reduce cancellations.

Position Overview:

The Retention Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction and protecting revenue by proactively engaging customers who may be at risk of canceling or delaying their projects. You will serve as a trusted point of contact, addressing concerns, providing solutions, and ensuring customers feel confident and supported throughout their remodeling journey.

This role is ideal for someone who is persuasive, empathetic, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct outbound and inbound calls with customers who have expressed hesitation, concerns, or intent to cancel.
  • Listen actively to customer issues and provide clear, confident solutions that rebuild trust and reinforce value.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Installation teams to resolve projectrelated concerns quickly.
  • Document all interactions, outcomes, and followup actions in CRM systems with accuracy.
  • Maintain retention KPIs, including save rate, call volume, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Identify trends in cancellations and communicate insights to leadership for continuous improvement.
  • Provide whiteglove service that aligns with Empire’s customer experience standards.
  • Support postinstallation followup when needed to ensure longterm satisfaction.
  • Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm, confident, and persuasive.
  • Experience in customer service, retention, call center, or sales preferred.
