East Texas Council of Governments (ETCOG) is seeking a customer focused Call Center Reservationist to support GoBus public transportation throughout our 14-county East Texas region. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for citizens scheduling transportation services. Responsibilities include answering incoming calls, providing clear and friendly service information, discussing trip options, scheduling rides, and working with customers to identify available transportation options. The ideal candidate communicates professionally, remains calm in a high-call-volume environment, and is committed to delivering reliable service to the public.

The Call Center Reservationist will maintain accurate customer profiles, trip reservations, addresses, and scheduling-system records to support driver manifests and daily operations. We assist local governments in planning for common needs, cooperating for mutual benefit and coordinating for sound regional development. Either directly, or through our contractors, ETCOG provides programs and services for East Texas seniors, employers and job seekers. We also build the 9-1-1 emergency call delivery system, provide peace officer training and homeland security planning services; and deliver rural transportation services, business finance programs, grant writing services and environmental grant funding for the region.
