Overview
Casino Cashier Cage Supervisor
The Casino Cashier Cage Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the casino cage, ensuring accurate financial transactions, compliance with gaming regulations, and exceptional customer service. This role supervises cage cashiers, manages cash flow, and safeguards casino assets.
Responsibilities
Supervise Cage Operations:
  • Oversee all cashiering functions, including currency exchanges, check cashing, chip fills, jackpot payouts, and vault operations.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions.

Staff Management:
  • Train, schedule, and monitor cage cashiers and clerks.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain proper staffing levels for each shift.

Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure all transactions comply with federal, state, and gaming regulations (including Title 31).
  • Complete and review required forms, logs, and reports accurately.
  • Notify surveillance of any suspicious activity or variances.

Cash Control:
  • Assign cashier banks and verify balances.
  • Monitor vault balances and prepare deposits.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Customer Service:
  • Maintain excellent guest service standards.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues professionally.

Security & Asset Protection:
  • Safeguard all cage assets, keys, and sensitive information.
  • Ensure secure operation of cashier cages and vault areas.

Reporting:
  • Prepare daily shift reports and communicate with management regarding incidents or variances.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of cash handling or banking experience; 1-3 years in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Knowledge of gaming regulations and fraud prevention practices.
  • Strong math, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be 21 years or older and able to obtain/maintain a gaming license.

Skills & Competencies
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in computer systems and cash handling equipment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Pay Range
USD $58,000.00 - USD $62,000.00 /Yr.
