The position requires flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and the ability to open and close operations as needed.
In addition, the role demands strong knowledge of cash handling, mathematics, basic management, human resources, and budgeting, along with participation in ongoing leadership development programs. The Cage Supervisor is responsible for ensuring excellent guest service, resolving disputes professionally, and building positive relationships with guests and team members. Candidates should have at least two years of supervisory experience involving cash handling, preferably in a cage or cashier capacity, along with a high school diploma or GED. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Kronos, Paramount, and money-counting equipment is required. The role involves working indoors in a casino environment with exposure to smoke and requires physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Additional requirements include maintaining a valid New Mexico driver’s license and obtaining a gaming license, while performing all assigned duties under pressure with accuracy, professionalism, and consistent attendance.
