A Day in the Life of a Café Associate:

As a relief/substitute Café Associate you will assist with all operational needs of the Café while consistently delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Create a welcoming and positive experience for every guest, and contribute to building and maintaining the Café's reputation as a preferred destination within the community.

  • Greet every customer promptly and in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Ensure all orders are accurate and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with management to promptly address and resolve customer concerns.
  • Communicate with kitchen staff to clarify orders when needed.
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of all menu items and their methods of preparation.
  • Prepare food in accordance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register and process transactions.
  • Follow all Agency and Health Department food safety guidelines at all times.
