From our humble beginnings as a mobile coffee truck on the streets of San Diego in 2013, Perky Beans Coffee has grown up and laid down roots in Leander, Texas. We are family-owned and operated, and since 2021, we've offered two concepts under one roof. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAFE DISHWASHER

In this dishwashing position, you help our restaurant run like a well-oiled machine! Your number one priority is to keep everything as clean as possible. Skillfully, you wash and sanitize dirty dishes, including plates, bowls, cups, pots, pans, utensils, and more. After running the dishes through our dish machine, you unload them and organize them properly throughout our kitchen as well as helping with prep cook duties.

You make sure to keep the floors clean by thoroughly sweeping and mopping them. Additionally, you handle trash removal, taking out each trash can as they fill up. When necessary, you assist our kitchen staff with anything they need. You get great satisfaction from helping to keep our restaurant clean and tidy!


QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CAFE DISHWASHER

  • 18+ years old
  • Ability to carry 50+ lbs
  • Willing and available to work weekends
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
