Weโ€™re seeking a Addiction Counselor who is passionate about supporting clients through structured group programming, substance use counseling, psychoeducation, and clinical support. This role is focused on leading engaging groups, supporting treatment goals, and helping clients build the skills needed for long-term recovery.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Facilitate structured therapeutic, psychoeducational, and substance use recovery groups
  • Lead meaningful discussions focused on coping skills, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, life skills, and recovery planning
  • Engage clients in skill-building activities that support treatment goals and continued progress
  • Provide addiction counseling support within your scope of practice
  • Assist with case coordination, client support, discharge planning, and treatment team collaboration as needed
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR
  • Support a safe, respectful, and clinically appropriate group environment
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care and client-centered treatment

What Youโ€™ll Bring

  • Active CAADC required at minimum
  • LSW, LAPC, LPC, LCSW, or other applicable clinical licensure preferred
  • Experience facilitating groups in a behavioral health, substance use, or dual-diagnosis setting
  • Strong understanding of addiction recovery, relapse prevention, and co-occurring mental health needs
  • Strong group facilitation, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage group dynamics while keeping clients engaged and supported
  • CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
