Could you be the full-time hybrid CCTV System Design Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA, US we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive security systems expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates. You'll contribute significantly to the safety and efficiency of our transportation solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Project Engineering, Verification and Validation, and Deployment), develop and oversee the implementation of wayside security system architecture, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Providing metier design specification and validation monitoring solution until customer acceptance,

  • Minimizing by design the system deployment costs, lead time, and risks,

  • Checking that external interfaces are consistent with the subsystem,

  • Supervising and participating in the System deliveries (requirements management, architecture definition, interfaces definition, detailed design, system performance, etc.),

  • Participating in the Design Reviews,

  • Contributing to the definition of the functional validation phase of the subsystem (FIVP)

  • Degree in Telecom, Industrial or equivalent engineering,

  • Experience or understanding of security systems, even if in domains different from railways,

  • Genetec Security Center Certification or similar credentials,

  • Proficiency in coordinating verification and validation activities,

  • Competence in interfacing with customers and managing technical discussions
