The team influences innovation, technology and enablement to assist Cisco Capital as it continues to evolve as a market leader and offer unique customer solutions with differentiated advantages over the competition.

You will collaborate closely with Cisco Capital's sales, credit, finance, operations, tax, and accounting teams to define key business questions and identify data-driven opportunities. This will involve partnering to understand their data needs and challenges, influencing the vision for data enablement and analytical capabilities, and establishing clear roadmaps for delivering impactful analytical solutions and insights that support their strategic goals and go-to-market plans

Your Impact

  • As a critical team member, you will work on projects of moderate to advanced scope related to the capabilities and functionality of Cisco Capital's Global Connect Applications, integrating robust data governance and analytical frameworks into our core business processes.

  • Using Agile methodologies, work with business stakeholders to identify and document requirements; collaborate with IT development teams on solutions and deliver enhanced functionality to our operational systems.

  • Complete business requirements documentation (BRD), process maps, test plans, and user training materials. Verify business needs with cross-functional stakeholders and communicate them clearly to development teams.

  • Complete test cases required in various testing cycles, including sprints and BAT/UAT cycles, ensuring high-quality deliverables are met on or ahead of schedule.

  • Drive data accuracy by implementing data policies and maintaining data catalogs/glossaries. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure consistent data definitions across different departments.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business questions into actionable analytical requirements. Use SQL and visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) to analyze data and inform operational decisions.

  • Design user-friendly data models and provide training (virtual or in-person) to empower business users to perform their own analysis.

  • Partner with IT to evaluate and implement AI-driven capabilities, such as Natural Language Data Search and automated data classification, to improve platform efficiency and data "AI-readiness."

  • Work alongside the leadership team to develop long-term enablement strategies and build project roadmaps that define interdependencies between tools, systems, and processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related field experience, including 2+ years as a project manager, team lead, or functional lead.

  • Demonstrable experience working with Finance Receivable systems (e.g., InfoLease, Oracle Lease Management, etc.) and a solid understanding of data governance principles.

  • Proficiency in data querying and manipulation from various data sources and files.

  • Solid experience working in an Agile environment with a track record of delivering high-impact, cross-functional efforts on or ahead of schedule.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinker with the ability to interpret complex data, investigate anomalies, and solve business issues through detailed analysis.

  • Excellent documentation and written skills, with experience in writing business requirements (BRDs), process documentation, and user training materials.

  • Strong influence and collaboration skills, with the ability to move stakeholders toward consensus and work effectively with Business, IT, and Data Engineering teams.

  • Comfortable delivering training (virtual or in-person) to large groups to empower users on system functionalities or self-service tools.

  • Experience using AI-assisted analysis tools and a foundational understanding of how data quality impacts the performance of AI/predictive models.

  • Takes the lead in understanding the business landscape and identifies opportunities for process improvement and data standardization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation; hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Experiences working with Databases - Oracle, SQL Server and MS Access

  • Experience in using reporting tools - SAP Business Objects

  • Solid understanding of data governance concepts, including data quality, data security, data privacy, and metadata management.

  • Familiarity with data cataloging and data lineage concepts

The starting salary range posted for this position is $92,000.00 to $123,800.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.

Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. For locations not listed below, the recruiter can share more details about compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process.

U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco's plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time.

U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco's policies:

  • 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees

  • 1 paid day off for employee's birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco

  • Non-exempt employees** receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees

  • Exempt employees participate in Cisco's flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)

  • 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next

  • Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members

  • Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer

For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

  • .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

  • 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

  • 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and

  • Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below:

New York City Metro Area:

$114,400.00 - $171,300.00

Non-Metro New York state & Washington state:

$100,200.00 - $153,200.00

  • For quota-based sales roles on Cisco's sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.

** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements.
