The Business Technology Project Manager partners with IT and business stakeholders to lead the assessment, implementation, and deployment of technology solutions and initiatives that support Aspiriantโ€™s advisory, client service, and operational teams.

How you will contribute:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technology supported business projects, including application assessments, vendor evaluations, and implementations.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and communications.
  • Coordinate internal resources and external vendors to ensure successful execution and adoption.
  • Partner with IT to assess existing applications and identify opportunities for optimization, consolidation, or replacement.
  • Help deployment of advisory, client service, finance, and operational platforms and workflows.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement through clear communication, documentation, and status reporting.
  • Support user readiness, training coordination, and adoption planning.
  • Translate business requirements into clear project objectives and technical requirements.
  • Identify and manage organizational change impacts associated with new technology deployments.
  • Reinforce IT governance processes, including intake, prioritization, and post-implementation reviews.

Experience and Education:

We will consider any combination of experience and education which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job. A typical way to acquire the requirements would be:

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in financial services, wealth management, or an RIA environment.
  • PMP, Agile, or similar certification required
  • Experience leading application implementations and technology deployments.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Tableau, and Black Diamond a plus

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Primarily sedentary work in an office with minimal distractions; walking throughout the office. Learn and memorize tasks; execute tasks independently; apply knowledge and use judgment to manage situations. Occasionally exert up to ten pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Perform repetitive motions; substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and fingers for computer keyboard operation. Use near visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing documents, operating a computer, and reading. Speak and hear to communicate with team members and clients by phone and in-person.
