If the answer is yes, then you know the Chesterman Company! We are an independent Coca-Cola Bottler with our corporate office located in Sioux City, Iowa. We have been making quality beverages for the Midwest since 1872 and supplying them from 14 distribution centers across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
Position Summary: The Business Solutions Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, administration, support, and continuous improvement of the organization's business applications and technology systems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the organization's business applications, databases, and integrated technology platforms.
  • Ensure systems support organizational goals, operational efficiency, and data accuracy.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement of capabilities, automation and optimization.
  • Partner with department leaders to define and enhance business capabilities aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Collaborate with end users in the selection, procurement, training, usage and maintenance of software programs and hardware.
  • Implement and optimize business applications to support operational requirements.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for application and technology support functions.
  • Supervise and coordinate work activities of IT department staff.
  • Manage pricing-related systems, databases, and supporting workflows.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, operations, and leadership teams to support order to cash efficiency.
  • Serve as an active member and represent the company on the Coca-Cola Steering Committee
  • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of related experience and/or training
  • Previous management experience preferred

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft business technologies, including Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and related productivity tools.
  • Background in beverage distribution software systems, such as VIP and eoStar, is preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of business applications, enterprise systems, and technology platforms
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license; good driving record

Work Environment: Works in air-conditioned office. Travel to other branches required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
