JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant will provide daily clerical and administrative support services for the inside/outside Civil Construction department.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • A working knowledge of general office procedures at a level normally acquired through one year of experience in an office setting; and
  • High School diploma or equivalent

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner.
  • Experienced in the use of various Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Answer field calls from Superintendents.
  • Update Excel spreadsheets and Access worksheets daily.
  • Log and process new work orders for SCE.
  • Maintain the project master worksheet and other electronic files for Civil customers.
  • Gather and review all necessary backup documentation for completed projects.
  • Follow up with the field Superintendent/Project Coor on billing for completed projects that have not been fully billed.
  • Prepare and submit billing to Civil customers through the assigned website.
  • Oversee and/or process day-to-day administrative items (i.e., expense reports, supply requisitions, personnel transaction forms, operating budgets, etc.) per supervisor's authorization.
  • Submit daily crew lists to SCE.
  • Process monthly and quarterly accruals.
  • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Wage range: $20 - 30/hour.
