OUR OPENING
The Business Solutions Manager will lead the strategy, optimization, and performance of our business-critical systems while driving process improvement initiatives across the organization. This role serves as a key partner to operational leaders, helping identify opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and leverage technology to solve business challenges.
Reporting to the IT Director, this position will oversee enterprise applications, lead cross-functional projects, and provide leadership to a Business Solutions Analyst.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS AN BUSINESS SOLUTIONS MANAGER?
  • Manage and optimize business applications including ERP, CRM, HRIS, and workflow systems.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to identify operational challenges and implement technology-driven solutions.
  • Lead business process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, standardization, and automation.
  • Translate business needs into functional system requirements and scalable solutions.
  • Oversee system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and vendor relationships.
  • Drive digital transformation projects from planning through execution.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to system effectiveness and process performance.
  • Support data-driven decision making through reporting, analytics, and business insights.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development for assigned team members.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in business systems, business analysis, process improvement, or technology-focused operational roles.
  • Experience leading projects, system implementations, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working with enterprise business applications such as ERP, CRM, or HRIS platforms preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES NEEDED
  • Strong understanding of business processes and enterprise systems.
  • Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical solutions.
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow design, and requirements gathering.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Knowledge of automation, reporting, and business intelligence tools is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • A majority of work takes place in an indoor office setting equipped with a computer, desk, phone, and other typical office equipment.
  • Must be able to inspect details at close range, interact, communicate, and exchange accurate information consistently.
  • Must be able to retain a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • Travel to other locations is occasionally required for meetings and trainings.
