Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Service Coordinator who will provide exceptional levels of service and support to Tax and Farm Accounting. Engage with customers, prospects, teammates and visitors through phone, in-person, and digital channels. Responsible for obtaining and processing customer documentation, setting up and managing customer meetings, and responding to customer inquiries. Serve as a back-up to Customer Experience Specialist for front desk coverage, answering phones, and other general office responsibilities. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Tax and Farm Accounting Activities
    • Schedule customer meetings, prepare files for appointments, record statistics and maintain complete and up-to-date historical customer files. Maintain tax files according to procedure, including current tax files and transfer files for tax accounts. May enter customer data into the tax planner or tax software, including depreciation and asset sales. Prepares and reviews all returned information. May key simple tax returns. Submits E-File tax returns and tracks status of e-filed returns. Enter or direct the keying and printing of forms and reports for the tax department. Copy, assemble, and distribute forms and reports to customers and files. Maintain customer depreciation schedules. May assist with quarterly and annual reporting.
    • Key and print branch and regional farm accounting statements and reports. Distribute reports to customers after review. Scan data and maintain accounting files. Prepare and distribute balance sheet letters and related correspondence to customers. Assist with and reviews information returns. May key information for farm accounting, as well as assist with quarterly and annual reporting.
    • May work on monthly customer payroll calculations, deposits, and inputs.
    • Follow department and association established processes.
  • Projects and Initiatives
    • Volunteer for and collaborate with the team on special projects and initiatives.
  • Office Operations
    • Serve as a back-up to Customer Experience Specialists for front desk coverage, answering phones, and other general office responsibilities.
    • Participate in planning and running office activities and customer events.
Education Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance or related business field.
Years of Experience
  • 0 -2  years of experience in Accounting or other related experience.
Certification and Technical Requirements

Proficient in Windows environment using Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Outlook
