Job description

Job Description: 

As a baker at Michele's Granola, you would be part of a growing production team of people, helping to prepare our special recipes of granola cereal in addition to properly baking, cooling, and finalizing quality control of the product before it is packaged. Teamwork and open communication are a large part of our operation. The ideal candidate would be comfortable expressing, critiquing, and acting on his/her own ideas as well as others'. This is a creative work environment with a focus on securing and maintaining the highest quality product possible. 

      

All employees are required to follow all food and personal hygiene and safety guidelines outlined by our GMP, FSMA, and OSHA programs. In addition, employees will be expected to fill out any logs or forms for regulatory purposes daily.  


Schedule:


Production runs Monday through Saturday. Team members work five days per week with two scheduled days off. Some roles follow a Monday through Friday schedule, while others include a Saturday shift with a weekday off.

Basic Expectations of the Baker include:  

  1. Outstanding food safety, food handling, prep and packaging skills, including accuracy, time management, organization, reliability and enthusiasm in the kitchen
