Job description

Kaeppel Consulting is in immediate need of a Clerical Support Specialist to support one of our preferred clients onsite in Erie, PA. This is a one-year temporary placement.
Position Summary:
Under close supervision, provides general clerical support for a business area - operating OPEX machines to open incoming mail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sorts and prepares incoming Lockbox payments for scanning, including Direct, Agent, and Express payments.
Operates OPEX hardware and software to open and scan Policyholder Lockbox payments.
Manages additional Policyholder mailed requests and instructions such as pay plan changes, address changes, and queries.
Completes Data Entry in Integrated Receivables software.
Performs clerical functions according to established schedules and deadlines.
Acquires and applies fundamental knowledge as applicable.
Receives, opens, sorts and distributes incoming mail.
Performs various clerical activities as required.
Proofreads all typed data for accuracy.
Required - standing and operating OPEX machine daily, some data entry, processing and sorting incoming mail and payments.
