This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role with the greater Indianapolis business owner community in helping them to Get Unstuck & Scale.

Our ideal candidate is confident, energetic, organized, and takes initiative. They enjoy building partnerships and get satisfaction from winning by filling our vents because of the relationships they’ve built.

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk marketing role. You’ll create opportunities through networking, cold outreach, strategic partnerships, and confidently introducing yourself to business owners throughout Central Indiana.

Success in this role means filling educational events with qualified business owners, taking ownership of event attendance, building partnerships, creating opportunities, and consistently delivering full events.

You will build relationships with business owners, develop strategic referral partnerships, promote educational events, and take ownership of helping our events consistently reach attendance goals.

A few of the major responsibilities associated with this role include:

  • Network with business owners throughout the greater Indianapolis area
  • Build strategic partnerships with organizations that serve business owners
  • Promote educational seminars and business events
  • Register qualified business owners for events and nurture them through attendance
  • Execute event logistics and ensure a first-class attendee experience
  • Manage prospect follow-up, CRM activities and event promotion.
  • Help grow and strengthen The Messy Middle business owner community

You are likely a great fit if:

  • You naturally start conversations and build trust quickly.
  • You enjoy owning measurable goals and take pride in achieving them.
  • You’re comfortable hearing “no” because you know the next conversation could be a “yes.”
  • You create opportunities instead of waiting for them.
  • You are organized and follow through without needing reminders.
  • You like seeing the direct results of your effort.
  • You thrive in a growing business where initiative matters.

Position Details

  • Full-time
  • Hybrid (Greater Indianapolis Area)
  • Base salary of $35,000 plus $100 per qualified business owner who attends events (uncapped performance bonus). Top performers have the opportunity to earn $95,000+ annually by consistently filling our educational events with qualified business owners.
  • PTO, Paid Holidays & 401k

We are a small and growing team, which means there is no shortage of opportunities to learn new skills, take on additional responsibilities, and grow your career as the company grows.

If you are looking for more than just a job and want to play a meaningful role in helping business owners to Get Unstuck and Scale, we would love to hear from you.
