The Mission Systems Quality & Mission Assurance (Q&MA) and Environmental Healthy & Safety (EH&S) organization is seeking an innovative leader who is a self-starter, enthusiastic about change, and always looking for ways to get work done more efficiently and more effectively to join our team as a Business Operations Manager. This role will be onsite and located in Linthicum, MD. The Business Operations Manager serves as the business face of the Sector Vice President of Quality & Mission Assurance and Environmental Health & Safety and will be a member of the Q&MA & EH&S Leadership team.

The successful candidate must possess strong leadership abilities, project management skills, ability to identify and coordinate with multiple stakeholders, experience working in a matrix and influencing others, planning and organizational skills, and excellent communication skills. They must be knowledgeable of Quality and related functions, scheduling techniques, and continuous improvement strategies. Ability to work with PowerBI, Tableau, and other data management tools to manipulate dashboards and use them for reporting.

In addition, the candidate should have experience in drafting executive communications in various forms, owning and executing large project scopes and driving strategy execution. Basic Qualifications for the Business Operations Manager: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in project/program management or relevant business experience and a wide variety of project management experiences. Experience with leadership Experience in collaborating with multiple stake-holders Ability to travel domestically up to 40% Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance US Citizenship required Preferred Qualifications: Northrop Grumman experience effectively working within and through Northrop Grumman (and/or a similar) corporate culture Experience with company and sector operations, policies, procedures and PrOP Experience with problem solving and analytical skills Experience making recommendations and providing guidance to effectively bring projects to completion Experience balancing and influencing multiple competing priorities and individuals What We Can Offer You: Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
