B2B Operations Assistant Manager

We are an Asian beauty expert group who are expertized in digital marketing, eCommerce and B2B distribution in North America. Be part of our team for big Korean and Japanese Beauty brands, one of the fastest growing in beauty industry.


We are seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused B2B Sales Operations Assistant Manager to support and optimize our national account sales operations. This role will serve as a key bridge between Sales, Operations, Finance, and Brand partners to ensure seamless execution across major retail accounts. The ideal candidate brings strong retail operational knowledge, data-driven decision-making skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional processes in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities


1. National Account Sales Operations


  • Support strategic retail accounts (e.g., Costco, Ulta, Target, Nordstrom)
  • Oversee purchase order tracking, allocation, and fulfillment coordination
  • Monitor sell-in, sell-through, and inventory health across accounts
  • Support line reviews, seasonal programs, and promotional execution
  • Coordinate new item setup, SKU onboarding, and retailer compliance requirements

2. Forecasting & Inventory Planning


  • Assist in demand forecasting and replenishment planning
  • Work closely with supply chain to optimize inventory levels
  • Identify potential stock risks or overstock situations
  • Support pricing adjustments, promotional forecasting, and margin analysis

3. Financial & Deduction Management


  • Monitor retailer deductions, chargebacks, and claims
  • Coordinate with Finance to reconcile invoices and AR
  • Track trade spend, co-op programs, and promotional investments
  • Analyze gross margin performance by account and SKU

4. Reporting & Business Analytics


  • Prepare weekly/monthly business performance reports
  • Analyze trends and provide insights to senior leadership
  • Track KPI performance (sales growth, IMU, inventory turns, margin)
  • Support executive presentations and retailer business reviews

5. Cross-Functional Leadership


  • Coordinate with Brand partners on pricing, packaging, and product changes
  • Partner with Marketing on retail activations and in-store programs
  • Improve internal operational workflows and reporting systems
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales operations, wholesale, or retail management
  • Experience working with major national retailers strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel proficiency (advanced functions, pivot tables required)
  • ERP experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple high-volume accounts simultaneously
  • Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills



Preferred Industry Experience


  • Beauty, cosmetics, or CPG distribution
  • Experience with retail programs (TPD, co-op, IMU, promotional planning)
  • Knowledge of retailer compliance, chargebacks, and deduction processes
  • Understanding of margin analysis and working capital impact
