Operations Assistant
Location: Orange, CA
Pay Range: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Reporting to: The Founder | President
Full Time, Onsite | Temp-to-Hire
We are actively seeking an Operations Assistant to join an established apparel and textile brand recognized for beautifully crafted, USA made loungewear sold to boutiques and at national market shows. This company cuts and ships between 1,000 and 2,000 garments a day, and the President travels frequently to shows, which means the person in this seat becomes the steady center of the operation. You will keep projects moving, hold staff deadlines on track, anticipate what leadership needs before it is asked, and make sure quality and detail never slip while volume climbs. You will also order office supplies, engage with customers, vendors, contractors, and end buyers, help source new vendors, and review and mark up vendor agreements for the President's approval.

If you are resourceful, committed to integrity, and energized by keeping a busy business humming, apply today and call Dynamic's recruiting team  at 925-855-3600.

Reasons to Join This Team
  • Step into a genuinely trusted right-hand role where the President relies on your support and judgment while traveling
  • Influence an American made brand where product integrity and craftsmanship come first
  • Enjoy meaningful variety across operations, vendor relationships, project oversight, and office leadership
  • Work in a nimble, warehouse connected environment where good ideas get implemented, not shelved
  • See the direct impact of your organization on 1,000 to 2,000 garments moving every single day
What You'll Be Responsible For
  • Keep daily business operations flowing seamlessly while the President is traveling to shows and market appointments
  • Oversee active projects and hold staff timelines and deadlines firmly on track
  • Anticipate leadership needs proactively and prepare information, materials, and follow ups before they are requested
  • Monitor detail and quality across a high volume operation producing 1,000 to 2,000 garments daily
  • Serve as a warm, professional point of contact for customers, vendors, contractors, and end buyers
  • Source and vet potential vendors, then review and mark up vendor agreements for the President's review
  • Manage office supply ordering, vendor accounts, and general office operations efficiently
  • Provide high level administrative support that keeps executive priorities visible and moving
  • Navigate shipping, apparel inventory, and ERP platforms confidently to pull information and resolve issues
To Be Successful in This Role, You'll Bring:
  • 3+ years of operations, office management, or executive support experience, with apparel, textile, or manufacturing industry background highly valued for understanding how production, fulfillment, and daily pace connect
  • Outstanding communication and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated success managing projects and holding others accountable to deliverable and deadlines without friction
  • Ability to understand and support the pressures of the business leader with a busy schedule
  • Strong technology skills across Microsoft Office Suite, cloud file sharing such as Dropbox, and operational systems including shipping and apparel inventory platforms
  •  Experience with AI and creating business prompts is a huge plus!
  • Working comfort reviewing vendor agreements and summarizing key terms and recommended changes for leadership
  • Genuine enjoyment of customer, vendor, and buyer interaction with polished communication in every channel
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality in a fast, high volume production environment
  • Trustworthy, dependable, and self directed, with a strong sense of urgency and sound independent judgment
  • Comfort working onsite in a garment company setting attached to a warehouse rather than a corporate office
