The Management Team of the Corporate Banking Department at the Bank utilizes expertise in economics, finance, accounting, and statistics to support business management activities. Works closely with managers and Account Officers to analyze business performance, prepare reports, and provide data-driven insights. Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills, while ensuring compliance with KYC, BSA/AML, and all applicable regulatory and internal requirements.


Including but not limited to:

Business Management

  • Work closely with Teammates do research market conditions and development, and analyze industry prospects by gathering information about growth, competitors, market share possibilities, supply and demand, write market information analysis report by daily and monthly
  • Prepare loan and deposit statistical data for reporting purposes
  • Work closely with team members in monitoring business performance, preparing management reports, analyzing key business metrics, and providing insights to support management decision-making
  • Participate in special assignments and other duties as assigned
  • Write department semi-annually business report and annual business reports to relevant stakeholders
  • Monitor the progress of new deals (Loan and Deposit), report news of the deal closing in both English and Chinese
  • Communicating with H.O., domestic branches, departments and sub-branches of NYB. Risk & Compliance Management
  • Participate in special assignments and other duties as assigned
  • Provide assistance with the completion of risk and compliance assessments
  • Understand and comply with bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Process transactions in accordance to the Bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements (e.g. AML, BSA, OCC, EAR, and others)
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and understand regulatory requirements
  • Assist with audits in providing requested documentations in a timely manner

  • Bachelor’s degree with major in business, financial, accounting or economics is required. A master's degree preferred
  • At least 3 years of work experience in banking or financial services for Associate level candidate; At least 4 years of work experience in banking or financial services for AVP level candidate
  • Strong data analytical capability in monitoring business performance
  • Experience with programming languages and data analytics tools (e.g. SQL, VBA, etc.) is highly preferred
  • Basic knowledge in common software, such as Microsoft office, financial spread sheet, etc., and corporate analysis skills, strong communications and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and writing is a must
  • Bilingual ability in Mandarin is required
