Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Quality & Continuous Improvement team.

This role will lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-wide Power BI solutions that replace legacy spreadsheet-based reporting with automated, cloud-based analytics. The Business Intelligence Engineer will partner with Quality, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT to create a single source of truth for manufacturing performance, quality metrics, and business intelligence.


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Power BI professional who enjoys building enterprise analytics platforms, modernizing manufacturing data systems, and driving data-informed decision making across a growing organization.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and deploy enterprise-level Power BI data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions 
  • Design and manage Power BI Service environments, including workspaces, deployment pipelines, applications, and data gateways 
  • Develop complex Power Query (M) transformations, DAX calculations, and automated ETL processes to support enterprise reporting 
  • Lead the migration of legacy Excel and Access-based reporting systems into scalable cloud-based analytics platforms 
  • Integrate Power BI with ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SQL databases, and other operational data sources 
  • Develop automated dashboards supporting quality systems, including CAPA, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Supplier Quality, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and operational KPIs 
  • Establish reporting standards, governance, data definitions, and best practices to ensure reporting consistency across the organization 
  • Serve as the organization's Power BI subject matter expert by training end users and promoting data literacy throughout the business

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related technical field required 
  • 5+  years of analytics experience with at least 3 years leading enterprise Power BI implementations 
  • Advanced expertise with Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling, and  visualization best practices 
  • Experience integrating Power BI with ERP systems, SQL databases, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), or other enterprise platforms 
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes, database architecture, and cloud-based  analytics environments 
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality systems, OEE, SPC, CAPA, NCR, or  industrial KPIs preferred 
  • Experience developing reporting governance, documentation, and standardized reporting frameworks 
  • Excellent  communication, project management, and training skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
