ABOUT THE ROLE

A prominent organization in the Greater Cleveland area is seeking a talented, design-minded BI Engineer to own the front-end presentation layer for a major data modernization initiative. As the organization transitions its core data ecosystems from a legacy Siebel environment into Salesforce and Snowflake, this role will turn complex underlying data into clean, actionable business intelligence.

This is a strictly front-end focused role. The ideal candidate has a passion for data storytelling, user experience (UX), and dashboard performance. Working closely with onsite teams, this individual will design, build, and optimize high-visibility Tableau dashboards and Power BI reports that serve as the definitive presentation layer for executive leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop Front-End BI Solutions: Design, build, and maintain intuitive, high-performance dashboards in Tableau and reports in Power BI.
  • Own the Executive Presentation Layer: Create clear, executive-ready visualizations, high-level KPI cards, and structured summaries that drive strategic decision-making.
  • Optimize User Experience (UX): Architect seamless report navigation, logical filtering workflows, and clean UI design to ensure self-service reporting is highly adoption-friendly.
  • Translate Requirements to Visuals: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their core KPIs and translate complex business requirements into elegant data visualizations.
  • Partner with Data Architecture: Work closely alongside the Data Architect and engineering teams to ensure the underlying Snowflake data models are optimized for front-end reporting speed and agility.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 3-5+ years of experience dedicated to Business Intelligence, data visualization, and front-end report development.
  • Mastery of BI Tooling: Proven expertise in building enterprise-grade Tableau dashboards and Power BI reports.
  • Strong UX/UI Instincts for Data: Demonstrated success designing clean report layouts, intuitive navigation, efficient filtering systems, and scannable KPI cards.
  • Executive-Level Presentation Skills: Proven track record of building presentation layers specifically tailored for C-suite and executive consumption.
  • Solid SQL Skills: Ability to write and understand SQL queries to validate data, troubleshoot report performance, and connect to cloud data warehouses.
  • Location: Ability to work full-time onsite in the Greater Cleveland, OH area. Note: No relocation assistance will be offered for this role.

NICE TO HAVE (PREFERRED)

  • Snowflake Integration: Direct experience connecting Tableau or Power BI to a Snowflake data warehouse environment.
  • CRM Data Familiarity: Prior experience visualizing Salesforce or CRM data metrics (e.g., pipeline, sales cycles, customer retention).
  • Experience navigating or interpreting data originating from legacy systems (like Siebel).

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Professional development and training opportunities.

This position is open to multiple engagement models, including Permanent/Full-Time, Contract, or Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements. We are looking for the best talent and are flexible on the employment structure for the right candidate.
