We have an opening at our Development Center in Lebanon, OH for an experienced Business Intelligence Manager! The Business Intelligence Manager leads the BI department, which includes Pricing, Demand Planning, Commercial Analytics, Commercial Master Data, and R&D Reporting. This leader drives a data-driven culture, leverages advanced analytics and AI, and ensures reliable, actionable intelligence to support MINC’s profit and growth targets. The Manager builds a high-performing team, collaborates cross-functionally, and champions innovation and continuous improvement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Leadership & Analytics
  • Develop and implement a forward-looking analytics and reporting strategy to support business goals across all BI functions.
  • Drive scenario modeling, proactive margin management, and demand planning in partnership with Finance and Operations, using AI and advanced analytics to anticipate market shifts and guide decisions.
  • Oversee the evaluation, integration, and utilization of analytics and pricing platforms (e.g., Power BI/Microsoft Fabric, PROS) to enhance intelligence and automation.
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of systematic, insight-driven reporting for company leaders, including KPI dashboards and performance tracking.
  • Ensure robust data governance, accuracy, and alignment across the organization, coordinating with global counterparts as needed.
  • Commercial & Competitive Intelligence
  • Conduct win/loss analytics, market share tracking, and competitive positioning to inform commercial strategy and support leadership decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Category, R&D, and Technical teams to provide data-driven guidance for strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development
  • Articulate a clear vision for team composition and capability development, building a best-in-class BI organization covering all five functions.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering growth and attracting top talent.
  • Lead the adoption of new technologies and best practices, positioning the team as a center of excellence within the organization.
  • AI & Technology Adoption
  • Champion the adoption and integration of AI tools within all BI functions, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of technology trends and ensure the BI team operates at the forefront of market standards.
  • Other duties in support of company objectives
  • Consistent with MANE’s environmental commitments, every employee shall actively participate in relevant education/training based upon corporate and local environmental objectives. Management shall support and facilitate the actions within their teams to effectively and adequately implement environmental policies, procedures and practices, as well as promote continual improvement consistent with environmental goals.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 5 years of analytics experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in a people management or supervisory role.
  • 1+ years of financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Power BI/Microsoft Fabric (including Copilot and AI-driven analytics) required.
  • Experience with SAP is highly desired; S/4HANA experience strongly preferred or other related ERP system.
  • Python proficiency strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with pricing/analytics platforms (e.g., PROS) and AI tool literacy required, with a willingness to lead adoption of AI tools within the function.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive cross-functional projects, and deliver actionable business insights.
  • Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
