Job Summary

Engages in data collection, maintenance, and analysis to support evaluation, assessment, and strategic planning, driving data-informed decision-making and development of streamlined, automated, value-based business tools across the organization. Responsible for utilizing strategies and technology to analyze current and historical data with the objective of improving decision-making and providing a competitive advantage for the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops and maintains interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, scorecards, and semantic models to understand business problems and how to solve them using analytical solutions
  • Devises efficient and scalable methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources to architect and deliver end-to-end analytics solutions
  • Performs specialized assignments; solves complex problems and develops non-traditional solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking
  • Identifies opportunities to automate manual reporting processes including leveraging approved AI technologies to improve organizational efficiency
  • Interprets internal/external business environment to understand the relationship between business processes, systems and how they impact each other
  • Recommends best practices to improve processes or services based on data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities
  • Design and support ETL processes, data pipelines, and data transformation workflows to ensure reliable and timely data availability
  • Impacts achievements of customer, operational, project or service objectives including the use of demonstrated ability to deliver user training and present analytical insights to business audiences, promoting effective adoption of Power BI solutions
  • Uses excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicatee difficult concepts to technical & non-technical stakeholders and within team to generate clarity and alignment on projects, initiatives, and various work products
  • May lead functional projects with moderate risks and resource requirements
  • Individual contributor working independently; may require guidance in highly complex situations
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred


Experience

  • Strong technical expertise in Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service, SQL, and data modeling
  • Advanced DAX, Power Inquiry, M Language, and analytics solution development
  • Database skills, including writing complex queries, data manipulation, and query optimization
  • Experience developing and supporting end-to-end analytics solutions from source systems to executive dashboards.
  • Experience with relational databases and dimensional data modeling, ETL processes, data integration, and data pipeline concepts
  • Typically requires 5+ years of related work experience
