The Senior Business Intelligence Architect designs, builds, and leads scalable data solutions that support enterprise Risk Adjustment and Stars initiatives. This role is responsible for delivering reliable, compliant, and high-performing data pipelines that enable the efficient processing and transformation of large-scale healthcare data into actionable insights.
Assignments are broad in scope, highly complex, and frequently require interpretation, strategic thinking, and independent decision-making. The Senior Business Intelligence Architect partners closely with business and technical stakeholders to align data solutions with organizational objectives and evolving regulatory requirements.

Lead development of scalable data solutions, including building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and automation using advanced SQL and best practices. Drive code quality through reviews, testing, documentation, and team mentorship.

Take ownership of complex, ambiguous business problems by translating them into actionable data solutions. Develop strong business domain knowledge and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful insights.

Contribute to evolving the team's data platform and technology stack while demonstrating initiative, curiosity, and a deep commitment to solving data-driven challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of production-grade ETL pipelines to process high-volume healthcare data
  • Architect and implement scalable data processing frameworks using Python and workflow orchestration tools
  • Develop and maintain data models, SQL queries, and data quality controls to ensure accuracy and audit readiness
  • Support CMS submissions and regulatory deliverables by generating timely and compliant datasets
  • Oversee data pipelines processing millions of records, ensuring performance, reliability.
  • Collaborate with Risk Adjustment Operations, Quality Systems Integration, and other business partners to align solutions with business needs
  • Facilitate onboarding of new data sources and adapt data pipelines to evolving regulatory and operational requirements
  • Provide technical leadership, including code reviews, mentorship, and guidance on engineering best practices
  • Support operational and analytical use case
  • This role requires a high level of reliability, strong sense of responsibility, and a data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to effectively manage and deliver on ad hoc and time-sensitive projects

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL pipeline development
  • Experience with data modeling, large-scale data processing, and production support
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex, ambiguous assignments
  • Ability to work in office 1-2 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Open-source contributions
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance or risk adjustment
  • Databricks experience.
  • Power App and PowerBI experience

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


$106,900 - $147,000 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
