B2B Integration Analyst

The Role
As an Integration Analyst specializing in B2B integration solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of integration solutions that support B2B transactions between the organization and external partners.
This customer-facing role supports B2B onboarding and system integrations from initial scope definition through testing and go-live, partnering with customers and internal technical teams to define requirements, coordinate integration activities, validate outcomes, and ensure a smooth and successful implementation experience.
The Integration Analyst acts as a subject-matter resource during onboarding, helping clarify business and technical needs, supporting integration testing, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring solutions align with agreed-upon scope and standards.
What You Will Own

o Perform end-to-end testing of B2B integration solutions, including EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), APIs, and other file-based systems, ensuring seamless data transfer and transaction processing between all systems.
o Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing in B2B environments.

o Serve as a primary customer contact during B2B onboarding and integration efforts
o Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand B2B integration requirements, data flows, and integration specifications.
o Assist with defining, refining, and documenting integration scope and requirements
o Communicate testing progress, results, and issues to the development team and business stakeholders, ensuring transparency in the testing process.
o Identify, document, and track defects related to B2B integrations using a defect management system (e.g., Jira, Quality Center).
o Participate in defect triage meetings, ensuring that issues are assigned, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner.
o Verify defect fixes, perform re-tests, and ensure that defect resolution meets quality standards.
o Maintain testing best practices, processes, and standards to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the B2B integration testing efforts.
o Conduct thorough root cause analysis for integration issues, working with development teams to ensure that problems are addressed at the source.
o Ensure that all B2B integration solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards before deployment.
o Provide feedback on test coverage, test strategy, and processes to improve the overall quality of B2B integration solutions.
o Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in testing B2B integrations, automation tools, and relevant technologies.
o Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize the testing lifecycle and improve the efficiency of B2B integration testing.

What We Are Looking For:
The Ideal candidate will have or be able to complete the below qualifications.
o Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
o Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance testing, with a focus on B2B integration solutions (EDI, APIs, and related technologies).
o Familiarity with using EDI mapping and translation tools (e.g., IBM Sterling Integrator, Seeburger, SAP PI/PO).
o Proven experience in testing B2B transactions, including file transfers, EDI messages (X12, EDIFACT), API testing (REST, SOAP), and data transformation.
o Experience with enterprise applications and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS).
o Familiarity with B2B protocols such as EDI, AS2, FTP/SFTP, and web services.
o Knowledge of version control and issue tracking systems (e.g., Git, Jira).
o Basic understanding of SQL for data validation and querying databases.
o Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset.
o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
o Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
o Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
• Preferred Qualifications:
o Familiarity with B2B integration and supply chain management concepts.
o Experience in testing high-volume transactions and ensuring scalability and performance of B2B integration solutions.
