Job Description

Position Summary: TOTO is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager – MRO to accelerate market penetration and drive exceptional sales performance across the Southeast U.S. territory. In this high-impact role, you will champion TOTO’s innovative EcoPower® hands-free solutions and IoT-enabled Smart Restroom Management System. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, focusing on relationship-building with facility decision-makers and plumbing engineers to drive adoption of TOTO’s sustainable, hygienic, and technologically advanced products.

Essential Functions:

  • Territory & Sales Management: Execute strategic sales plans to increase market share and exceed revenue targets. Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, pipeline development, product specification, and closing through distributor partners.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain high-level relationships with MRO professionals, facility owners/managers, and plumbing engineers. Deliver impactful product demonstrations, presentations, and training.
  • Product Expertise: Position TOTO’s EcoPower® and IoT-enabled product lines as best-in-class solutions for water conservation, hygiene, and efficiency.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive trends, pricing strategies, and market activity; maintain expert knowledge of TOTO product lines and policies.
  • CRM & Reporting: Utilize Salesforce CRM for accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking, and reporting.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None. (Individual contributor role).

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing expertise.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Relationship-driven with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience in the Commercial Plumbing or MRO industries.
  • Proven history of exceeding sales quotas (preferred).
  • Experience with Salesforce, SAP CRM, or similar CRM platforms (preferred).
  • Knowledge of IoT solutions in commercial building management systems (preferred).

Work Environment & Travel:

  • Travel: Significant overnight travel required throughout Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and surrounding areas. Attendance at trade shows, conferences, and company meetings is required.
  • Transportation: Participation in a third-party administered vehicle program (tax-advantaged, fixed car allowance + mileage reimbursement).

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel extensively via air and car.
  • Must be able to conduct site visits in various commercial environments.
