Business Development Manager

SERVPRO of Madison County is hiring a Business Development Manager!

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving our marketing campaigns, overseeing the client database, and maintaining an active presence at local and regional associations and trade show events. You will be responsible for growing business profit and revenue and developing long-standing business relationships. If you are proactive, truly enjoy providing superior service, and a high sales performer who loves taking ownership, this could be an ideal place for you!

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding the competitive advantages of using SERVPRO and effectively educating clients and customers about brand benefits
  • Preparing a business development plan based on past performance and franchise growth objectives to meet and/or exceed planned revenue and activities goals for the business development team
  • Building, maintaining, and strengthening client relationships with contacts in our sales territory and seeking to develop new prospects and leads to ensure revenue growth
  • Completing an annual marketing needs assessment, including planning the number of CE classes, lunch-and-learns, scheduling the budget, and developing action plans for business decision making
  • Performing a comparative analysis of revenue, collection, and activities metrics vs established goals
  • Developing marketing initiatives and budget to create an annual marketing plan
  • Recruiting, training, developing, and managing marketing teammates

Position requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience preferred
  • A minimum of five years of direct sales experience
  • At least one year of management experience
  • Experience in building a strong team with tangible leadership skills
  • Strong process and results driven attitude
  • Experience in the cleaning, restoration, or insurance industry is preferred

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies include:

  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
  • Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Compensation: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
