Job description

Business Development Manager – Insurance Partnerships
Remote | ~30% Local Travel | Compensation Based on Experience
FRSTeam is a nationwide, franchised contents restoration company specializing in electronics, fabric/textile, and furniture restoration. We work with leading insurance carriers and restoration contractors across the country to deliver scalable, process-driven solutions after property losses.
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to serve as a growth driver for one of our franchised locations. This role reports to a General Manager and/or Franchise Owner and is responsible for developing new revenue channels, expanding industry relationships, and positioning FRSTeam as a strategic partner—not a commodity vendor.
About the Role
This is a hunter-style business development role, not a client service or account management position. The Business Development Manager actively identifies, pursues, and converts new opportunities within the insurance and restoration ecosystem.
You will sell operational systems, processes, and outcomes—demonstrating the value of a long-term partnership beyond speed, price, or referral incentives. Success in this role comes from strategy, consistency, and the ability to articulate why FRSTeam is a differentiated solution.
Local travel for relationship-building, networking events, and field engagement is expected approximately 30% of the time, locally. Opportunities to attend the yearly convention and regional events.
Key Responsibilities
· Proactively identify and pursue new revenue channels within insurance carriers, contractors, and related partners.
· This is NOT a work from home position, you will be meeting with potential new leads every day.
· Develop and execute a business development strategy, including targets, activity plans, and outreach schedules
· Leverage social media and content opportunities to build visibility, credibility, and inbound interest
· Conduct outbound sales efforts including direct outreach, networking, events, and digital campaigns
· Use CRM and sales reports to track performance, analyze trends, and adjust strategy
· Effectively communicate FRSTeam’s operational processes and systems as solutions to client pain points
· Build relationships rooted in value, trust, and outcomes, not transactional pricing or program status
· Maintain strong self-motivation, discipline, and accountability in a remote environment
What You Bring
· 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development
· Solution-based selling experience in a need-based environment a plus
· Understanding of the insurance industry and the claim process
· Ability to sell process, consistency, and partnership value, not just services
· Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of initiative and follow-through
· Comfortable building targets, reviewing sales metrics, and managing a structured pipeline
· Confident communicator who can challenge “cheapest and fastest” thinking with smarter solutions
· Bring your can-do attitude, new ideas, and your established network of contacts, and feel comfortable presenting FRSTeam to them
· Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting
· Active involvement in social media marketing, events, networking, etc…
Compensation & Benefits
· Compensation Range: Competitive $75k base salary plus commission, commensurate with experience and skill set
· Performance-based upside tied directly to growth and results
· Company car or allowance on personal vehicle.
Why FRSTeam
FRSTeam offers a unique opportunity to represent a national brand with local ownership, proven operational systems, and deep insurance-industry credibility. This role is ideal for
someone who wants to build something, influence growth, and be rewarded for driving results—not just maintaining accounts.
