POSITION OVERVIEW


We have an opportunity for a Junior Functional Analyst within the Services Squad, a team focused on the evolution, optimization and support of the ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will help understand business needs, document functional requirements, validate solutions and support the continuous improvement of IT service processes. You will work closely with stakeholders, the Product Owner, developers, integrators and operations teams to deliver simple, reliable solutions that are aligned with business value.


CHALLENGES TO BE MET


  • Participate in gathering, analyzing and clarifying business needs related to the ServiceNow platform.
  • Write and maintain functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and clear documentation for the delivery team.
  • Contribute to mapping and improving existing processes, including ITSM processes such as incidents, requests, changes, problems and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with developers, integrators, quality analysts and stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of needs and expected solutions.
  • Participate in functional testing, test scenario preparation, user validations and defect follow-up.
  • Support production deployment, change adoption and the creation of reference or training material for users.
  • Gradually develop your understanding of ServiceNow, its modules, workflow capabilities, service catalog, CMDB and service level management.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


Studies

  • University diploma in computer science, information systems, business administration, business analysis or any relevant combination of education and experience.

Knowledge and skills

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in functional analysis, business analysis, application support, quality assurance or a similar IT role.
  • Strong interest in service management platforms, particularly ServiceNow; initial ServiceNow experience is an asset.
  • Ability to document needs, processes, business rules, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Basic understanding of ITSM processes and concepts such as incident, service request, change, problem, knowledge, service catalog, SLA and CMDB.
  • Ability to participate in clarification workshops, ask relevant questions and reformulate needs in a structured way.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methods and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence or similar tools.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • ITIL Foundation or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is an asset.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain functional needs or issues clearly.
