Experienced Business Development Manager - Accounts Receivable Management
Bull City Financial Solutions (BCFS) is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Business Development Manager to expand our client base and develop long-term revenue opportunities.
Founded in 1975, BCFS is an established accounts receivable management company serving organizations across Healthcare, Utilities, Government, Financial Services, and other regulated industries.
This position is ideal for an experienced ARM sales professional who wants the autonomy to develop new business, build meaningful client relationships, and directly benefit from the portfolio they create.
What You'll Do
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within targeted industries.
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients, decision-makers, consultants, and industry partners.
  • Learn each prospect's operational and financial challenges and position BCFS solutions accordingly.
  • Manage the full business development cycle from prospecting and initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Develop referral and strategic partner relationships that generate new opportunities.
  • Represent BCFS at healthcare, utility, government, financial services, and accounts receivable industry conferences.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive activity.
  • Collaborate with BCFS leadership and operational teams to develop solutions tailored to prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, opportunity forecasts, and follow-up schedules.
  • Continue developing expertise in accounts receivable management and the industries we serve.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of successful business development or sales experience within accounts receivable management, collections, revenue cycle, or a closely related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently generate and close new business.
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong existing industry relationships are highly valued.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executives and senior decision-makers.
  • Strong organizational skills and the discipline to manage a long-term sales pipeline.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms; Salesforce experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; significant relevant industry experience may substitute.
The Opportunity
At BCFS, experienced business development professionals are given room to operate. We are looking for someone who can develop a market, establish relationships, and take ownership of their results without being micromanaged.
You'll have the opportunity to:
  • Build a significant book of business with long-term earning potential.
  • Earn competitive base compensation plus commission.
  • Develop toward six-figure total compensation as your portfolio grows.
  • Receive 18 days of PTO.
  • Attend major industry conferences and networking events.
  • Work directly with company leadership on growth strategy and new-market opportunities.
  • Expand your knowledge through ongoing industry and professional development.
  • Grow your responsibilities and career as the business you develop expands.
Why BCFS?
BCFS has been helping organizations improve accounts receivable performance for more than 50 years. We combine the stability and resources of an established company with an entrepreneurial approach to business development.
We aren't looking for someone who simply manages incoming leads. We're looking for an experienced business developer who knows how to create opportunities, build relationships, and close business.
If you're ready to take ownership of your market and build a portfolio with substantial long-term potential, we'd like to hear from you.
Apply today to join Bull City Financial Solutions.
