Job description

Are you energetic, goal-driven, and ready to launch your career in sales? City Wide Facility Solutions is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help our franchise owners grow their businesses. In this role, you’ll be the engine that fills the top of our sales funnel—researching prospects, making outbound connections, and setting up qualified appointments for our franchise sales teams.

You’ll connect with decision-makers, learn to master outbound outreach, and play a crucial part in driving business growth across 20+ facility service lines.

What You’ll Do
  • Research and identify businesses in assigned franchise markets that could benefit from City Wide’s services.
  • Execute 100+ high-quality outbound activities (calls, emails, LinkedIn messages) each day to build interest and schedule qualified appointments.
  • Schedule, confirm, and document appointments, creating a seamless handoff to franchise sales executives.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed CRM records of all outreach efforts and communications.
  • Collaborate regularly with franchise owners to review progress, refine outreach strategies, and deliver consistent messaging.
  • Provide valuable insights to leadership on prospect feedback, objections, and market trends.
What Success Looks Like
  • 100+ daily outbound activities with quality conversations
  • 20 qualified appointments scheduled per month
  • 100% of required activity tracked accurately in CRM

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in outbound, inside, or sales development roles (B2B or franchise experience a plus).
  • Excellent phone presence, written communication, and ability to build rapport quickly.
  • High comfort level with outbound prospecting and achieving activity goals.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with strong follow-up skills.
  • A growth mindset and desire to advance into customer-facing or sales roles.
