The Glass Guru is a rapidly growing franchise organization that originated in Roseville, California, and is now headquartered, in Plano, Texas. We are currently in a very exciting place in our growth and looking for the right individual to join our team who will assist us, and our independent franchise owner(s) network, in continuing to surpass our wildest expectations.
Position Overview:
The Franchise Business Coach works under the supervision of the VP of Franchise Support (the Coach of the Coaches) and is central to the success of the Franchise Business Support & Development Department. This position is fast-paced and multi-faceted. The Franchise Business Support Coach will assist with all aspects of franchisee development to produce successful, compliant, and profitable franchise locations. Additional projects and tasks may be assigned by the VP of Franchise Support.
The Franchise Business Support Coach supports The Glass Gurus mission, vision, and values by demonstrating excellence, innovation, integrity, leadership, customer service, respect, trust, open communication, understanding, flexibility, and effectiveness.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Multitask and apply critical thinking skills to provide the highest level of professional service & support
  • Responsible for providing centralized support and serve as the liaison for the Franchise Owners you support
  • Participate in internal meetings to remain current on the goals & objectives of The Glass Guru Executive Team
  • Maintains oversight of financial performance for assigned Franchisees to ensure continued success
  • Coach and support Franchisees with benchmarked store growth and revenue KPIs
  • Engages in proactive ongoing support to locations to promote profitability and success
  • Communicate effectively with Franchisees on outstanding business development and support issues or requests
  • Respond to all submitted support tickets routed to franchise business coach and obtain answers and solutions timely
  • Ensure follow up to completion on requests submitted for the franchise locations
  • Assist with franchise development standards and core competency training
  • Prepares monthly reports, data compilation, and analysis for assigned franchisees as directed
  • As part of a high-performing team, formulate and execute project action business plans & provide internal updates
  • Guide new Franchisees through the Franchise Initiation & Development Process as directed
  • Timely identify need for higher level franchisee support and communicate with assigned leadership accordingly
  • Participate in the development and delivery of system standards training, regional trainings, workshops, national conventions, E-learning, and on-site training as needed
  • Maintain consistent contact and communication with all assigned franchise owners through various modalities
  • Serve as a conduit to achieve satisfactory resolution of customer complaints addressed to corporate for active franchisees
  • Provide balanced communication and support on behalf of the Legal, Compliance, and Admin departments with Franchisees to ensure collection of all monies owed, documentation required, and compliance with contractual terms on behalf of the Franchisor
  • Support the integrity and protection of the brand and uphold all brand standards
  • Perform other duties as requested or required. These duties and requests may include assignments in departments and job requisitions (classifications) other than the primary assignment.
The Franchise Business Development Department is responsible for providing support to the franchisees through shared services and Departments. Collaboration and project management of the shared services is critical in this position. Candidate must be able to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently with a Franchise Owner.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in franchise support, coaching, consulting, management, or related field. Strong interpersonal, effective listening, and communication skills; a demonstrated and successful ability to lead, motivate, and create mutually beneficial relationships to influence positive change
  • Must demonstrate the ability to combine patience and persistence to troubleshoot issues and problem solve
  • Must be proficient in Google Based Apps/G-Suite software and Microsoft Office products including working knowledge of Excel
  • Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities
  • Must be able to multi-task, apply critical thinking skills, and provide the highest level of service both internally and externally
  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Ability to engage in a wide variety of business discussions and quickly learn new and/or complex industry or business concepts
  • Must have a current drivers license and a clean driving record
  • Must provide a minimum of three (3) professional references reflecting a strong moral character
  • Must be a confident and positive team-oriented person motivated to aid in overall organizational growth
  • Must be willing to travel as needed
  • Previous franchise business ownership and/or home services franchise support experience is a major plus!
