Job description

About UHP
UHP - Unlock Human Potential is building a new category of education centered around whole-human experiential vocational training, leadership development, and purpose-driven transformation. UHP serves veterans, transitioning service members, and purpose-driven individuals through immersive programs that integrate human performance, leadership, wellness, vocational skills, and personal growth.
Our environment is fast-moving, mission-driven, and deeply experiential. We are not a traditional university, gym, military program, or trade school - we are building a scalable human development institution designed for the future workforce.
The Opportunity
The Admissions Advisor serves as a trusted guide for veterans and transitioning service members exploring UHP programs.
Through structured, high-quality admissions interviews, the Admissions Advisor helps prospective students understand the UHP experience, determine whether the program aligns with their goals, and navigate the application process with clarity and confidence.
This is a high-touch, results-oriented position requiring strong communication, emotional intelligence, organization, and respect for the veteran experience. The right person will balance enrollment goals with UHP's commitment to honesty, transparency, and white-glove candidate care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Admissions Interviews
  • Conduct scheduled phone and video admissions interviews with prospective students.
  • Follow established interview guides while creating a personal and engaging experience.
  • Understand each candidate's background, goals, motivations, and readiness for the UHP experience.
  • Clearly explain program requirements, expectations, timelines, and next steps.
  • Help candidates make informed decisions without pressure, misleading information, or false urgency.
Guide Candidates Through the Application Process
  • Support qualified and interested candidates in completing the UHP application process.
  • Clearly communicate application requirements and required documentation.
  • Provide timely follow-up through approved communication channels.
  • Reinforce expectations, deadlines, and next steps throughout the process.
  • Identify and resolve barriers that could prevent a candidate from moving forward.
Partner With the Enrollment Team
  • Provide accurate and complete handoffs to the Enrollment Coordinator.
  • Collaborate with the Enrollment Coordinator to track applicants through funding, travel, and arrival.
  • Maintain shared accountability for movement through the enrollment pipeline.
  • Communicate concerns, missing information, and potential delays before they affect a student's arrival.
  • Support a seamless transition from admissions interview through the student's first day on campus.
Build Strong Candidate Relationships
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospective students from the initial interview through arrival.
  • Build trust and rapport while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Ensure every veteran and service member feels respected, informed, and connected to UHP's mission.
  • Respond promptly to active candidates and prevent prospective students from being overlooked or left without clear next steps.
  • Deliver a consistent white-glove experience throughout the admissions journey.
Maintain Accurate CRM Records
  • Document interview outcomes, candidate information, follow-up activity, and next steps in HubSpot.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline stages and candidate records.
  • Follow established workflows, automation rules, and data-quality expectations.
  • Ensure leadership and enrollment partners have reliable information to support decisions and forecasting.
  • Protect candidate information and follow all applicable confidentiality and compliance standards.
What You Bring
  • Two or more years of experience in admissions, recruiting, enrollment, sales, advising, coaching, customer success, or veteran services.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence and active-listening ability.
  • Ability to guide individuals through complex or personal decisions with patience and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple candidates, follow-up commitments, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfort working in a structured, performance-driven environment.
  • Experience using a CRM or applicant-management platform; HubSpot experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with military culture and the challenges service members may experience during transition.
  • Availability to occasionally support evening or weekend candidate conversations when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Military service, military-spouse experience, or experience supporting veterans and transitioning service members.
  • Previous admissions or enrollment experience in education, workforce development, certification programs, or career training.
  • UHP graduate or previous involvement with UHP programs.
  • Coaching, counseling, mentorship, or consultative sales experience.
  • Experience working in a high-growth or rapidly changing organization.
Schedule and Work Environment
This is a full-time position that may be based in Bentonville, Arkansas, or performed remotely. Remote team members should be prepared to participate in periodic travel to Northwest Arkansas, with semiannual visits to the UHP campus preferred.
The position generally operates during standard business hours, but occasional evening or weekend availability may be required to accommodate prospective students.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package
  • 401(k)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Professional development support
  • Access to UHP performance and recovery facilities
Veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses are strongly encouraged to apply.
Why UHP
At UHP, you are joining more than a company - you are helping build something designed to create lasting impact.
You will have the opportunity to:
  • Contribute to a mission larger than yourself
  • Help shape and build new systems and programs
  • Work alongside passionate and purpose-driven people
  • Directly impact the lives of veterans and future generations
  • Be part of building the future workforce
