Job Description

Title : Business Analyst

Job Type :  Full time/W2

Location: Jersey city, New Jersey, USA

Require candidates who have direct working experience as a Business Analyst. 

This is NOT an entry level position or for those who are changing their careers to be a Business Analyst

Require candidates who have at least 2-5 years of active professional experience with direct involvement in business analyst discipline.

Along with hard skills in business analysis, candidates must be assertive and confident to analyze and communicate gaps and concerns to business members and technical team when working on business requirements.

Candidates have participated in JAD sessions or requirements gathering process and delivered BA artifacts.

Candidate must be familiar with analysis models and artifacts such as the following: Role Based Matrix, Glossary, Context Diagram, ERD/Data Model, Class Model, Data Dictionary, State Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Business Rules, Decision Tables, Process Maps, User stories, Use Cases, and Activity Diagrams

Candidate must be familiar with process analysis, process decomposition and elementary business process (EBP) definition

Performing business analysis to support the project managers in defining project scope and objectives,

Analyzing business processes for new and revised business applications,

Eliciting information and functional requirements from product owners and business sponsors through oral and written communication,

Documenting requirements meetings, developing user stories and UML diagrams to support the elicitation process, working with developers to generate mockups of proposed solutions, presenting mockups and refining requirements,

Collecting and documenting preliminary data requirements.

Assist in designing technical specifications for complex, integrated government systems which include numerous feeders crossing agency boundaries

Assist with in development testing

Qualifications

2-7 Years on Technical experience.

Must have Bachelors Degree
