EITACIES is looking for a Business Analyst to support modernization initiatives by eliciting and clarifying business needs, documenting processes and requirements, assisting with solution assessment, and supporting testing and implementation.
Position: Business Analyst
Location: Salem, OR - Remote work
There may be some need to be in the office based upon business needs. A lot of the time, the individual will be able to work remotely. Candidates must be within 50 miles of Salem, Oregon.
As a Business Analyst, you will support modernization initiatives by eliciting and clarifying business needs, documenting processes and requirements, assisting with solution assessment, and supporting testing and implementation. 
You will collaborate with program staff, senior analysts, technical teams, and vendors to transform stakeholder input into clear, actionable documentation that guides delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Support
  • Gather information via interviews, workshops, document reviews, and research.
  • Translate findings into process diagrams, user stories, business rules, and functional descriptions.
  • Help maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
Documentation
  • Draft and maintain current-state/future-state process maps, SOPs, requirements summaries, and system documentation using approved templates and consistent terminology.
Testing & Validation Support
  • Prepare UAT test cases.
  • Participate in execution.
  • Document results and communicate findings for review and resolution.
Training & Implementation Assistance
  • Contribute to end-user training materials and “train-the-trainer” sessions.
  • Observe workflow impacts.
  • Gather user feedback and share insights to support adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned to support program objectives and timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large-scale modernization programs or enterprise initiatives.
  • Familiarity with data governance/privacy/security practices.
  • Project/change management and facilitation skills, including workshops and consensus-building.
  • Background working with relational or cloud-based data platforms.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.
