ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS40% Elicit requirements and manage projects, which includes:
  • Working with business area users to understand and document project/business requirements and proposing system solutions.
  • Analyzing impacts of potential technical difficulties on product design or system requirements.
  • Creating flow charts and documentation as needed to ensure effective communication and a shared understanding of the project between users and developers.
  • Managing scope, cost, and schedule of small to mid-sized projects for on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Estimating and logging time daily, providing project status information, and presenting demonstrations of project functionality to stakeholders; and
  • Translating functional specifications to software development requirements and coordinate solutions delivery.
  • Logging activity and communicating status to both managers and end users.
40% Develops and executes test plans for software projects, which Includes:
  • Identifying and creating test cases, which can include ad-hoc querying of SQL databases.
  • Analyzing test outcomes to ensure compliance with plan and resolve differences.
  • Ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Creating automated tests to ensure high quality and rapid regression testing, which can include test scripting; and
  • Reviewing test results of others as required.
  • Coordination of user testing.
10% System support and troubleshooting:
  • Supporting systems by reviewing and solving user questions and requests.
10% Innovation and Professional Development, which include:
  • Incorporating new computer industry developments into future Company systems.
  • Keeping abreast of industry developments that could provide solutions to our business goals; and
  • Maintaining skills through ongoing training and study.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Two or more years of business analyst experience required.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills required.
  • Effective planning, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills required.
  • Analysis, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills required.
  • Experience with Agile Development and Project management with SCRUM methodologies.
  • Experience with MS SQL databases and Mongo.
  • Experience in testing, managing teams develop RESTFul APIs, windows services, and database integrations.
  • Experience using tools to evaluate/validate such as Postman, Swagger, Browserstack, Playwright or other automated test scripting.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining test suites/beds.
  • Experience creating project charters or work summaries and workflows using Lucid or other similar workflow tools.
  • Knowledge of AI and low code solutioning is a plus.
  • Talent required in values, work intensity, achiever, positivity, relationship, resourcefulness, and exactness.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Industry standard certifications are beneficial.
PHYSICAL AND WORK SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
  • May require work over 40 hours a week to complete functions and expectations of the position.
  • May require availability to participate in night & weekend "on-call" rotations for production-level system and application outages.
