Job description

About the Job
The details behind every great restoration project start with the right materials - and you'll help make that happen.
Renaissance Historic Exteriors sources and sells the specialized materials that historic restoration demands: natural slate, clay and concrete tile, copper, and architectural components that most suppliers don't carry. Our material sales operation serves not only our own crews but restoration contractors throughout the region. You'll be the person who keeps that operation running smoothly - connecting clients with the materials they need, tracking orders from quote to delivery, and building relationships that bring people back.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Handle inbound inquiries for material procurement - receiving requests, gathering photos and specifications, identifying the right products.
  • Follow up on quotes, proposals, and orders before and after the sale - proactive communication is the standard here.
  • Track and transmit shipment data, retrieve proof of delivery, and keep clients informed throughout the process.
  • Support the Material Sales Manager with data entry, inventory tracking, and bid information gathering.
  • Maintain and update records in CRM and material management systems.
  • Assist with sourcing new clients through data research and outreach support.
  • Solicit 5-star reviews from satisfied material customers.
WHAT YOU BRING:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - you work in these tools every day.
  • A quick, organized mind that can handle multiple open orders and follow through without being reminded.
  • Professional, positive communication style - phone, email, and in person.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools (Constant Contact, etc.) is a plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
  • $18-$23/hr based on experience.
  • Health Insurance after 90 days.
  • Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay.
  • Monday-Friday schedule in a professional office environment.
  • Opportunity to grow into a more senior sales or operations role over time.
