What Is a Brand Strategist?

A brand strategist creates a long-term marketing strategy for a company’s brand, such as its image, product line, and advertisements. Your duties are to analyze data regarding your target demographic, your sales figures, and known marketing trends. Or you gather data yourself in the form of customer surveys. You use the data to recommend how the company proceeds to build its brand, such as with a new product or service, new advertisement campaigns, and other information. You work closely with the marketing department and brainstorm new marketing ideas. If your company is active on social media, you work with the social media coordinator to determine how to use social media effectively to reach your target demographic.

Job description

Company Description

While this position is remote, we're looking for candidates that live in the U.S. This is to facilitate communication and coordination with internal teams and clients.

Strategic smarts + technical expertise + artistic magic. Here, that's our not-so-secret sauce for cooking up marketing that doesn't just capture attention - it drives real business growth for our clients.

We support organizations across a wide range of industries, offering services including branding, web design/development, SEO, digital advertising, and content creation, where strategic consulting is a given. We serve as guides and advisors to clients, navigating them through the complexities of the digital landscape. Our Creative team also plays the crucial role of storytellers, bringing narratives to life that resonate with audiences and drive meaningful engagement.

Our approach is centered on understanding the needs, emotions, and aspirations of our audience, ensuring that every campaign resonates on a human level and fosters genuine connections with our clients and their customers.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze campaign performance, gather data, and apply insights to optimize strategies, meeting quarterly KPIs and profitability goals.

  • Communication: Facilitate clear, compelling communication in client meetings, emails, and presentations. Serve as the lead in both client and internal discussions.
