As a brand representative, you promote a product or service to a specific audience. In this role, you may work with your company to determine the best way to advertise each product, use social media to connect with customers and advertise events, and talk with a customer to gain feedback about your marketing efforts. Brand representatives also help maintain records, develop brand guidelines, train other staff members, maintain product knowledge, identify sales leads, attend industry events, and manage product displays. Some brand representatives negotiate deals with customers, manage point-of-sale systems, oversee mail programs, and maintain relationships with store personnel.
