GENERAL FUNCTION
The Brand Manager is directly responsible for the leadership, management and profitability of Essilor's premium brands across all sales channels in the Essilor group. Consistently achieves established district sales and unit goals through the direction, organization, coordination, and development of Brand Specialists. Effectively acts as a mentor and coach to the Brand Specialists. Ideal living location: Near a major airport within the district. Travel up to 50-60% inclusive of overnights.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist Brand Leader with development and strategies for Essilor Brand Organization.
  • Develops the individual and team objectives based on the business plans of the Essilor Brand Group.
  • Achieves national ECP Brand group sales forecast.
  • Responsible for sales unit volume across all sales channels (ELOA, PLG & IDD).
  • Responsible for growing and developing his/her team in his/her business unit through effective communication, the PPR process, ride-withs and individual one-on-one coaching.
  • Coaches, develops and provides sales support to ECP Brand Specialists, Account Executives & IDD Partners.
  • Continuously evaluates the job performance of the ECP Brand Specialists.
  • Ensures ECP Brand Specialists are complying with the necessary territory and account planning activities to achieve regional sales goals.
  • Assists the District Sales Manager, Account Executives & IDD partners in building key accounts business plans.
  • Coaches the District Sales Manager, Account Executives & IDD partners on our selling process and ensures that they use the process to achieve regional sales goals.
  • Effectively communicates, supervises and implements all Essilor Sales and Marketing Plan objectives.
  • Successfully recruits, hires and orients the best talent for the Brand Specialist team.
  • Completes reports and other administrative duties in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Meets or exceeds the standards set forth in the Essilor "Expectations" position evaluations.
  • Always represents the company in line with stated core values.
  • Creates a safe work environment through awareness and adherence to proper safety procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Brand Leader and SVP ECP Sales.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • A. / B.S. degree in an appropriate discipline preferred.
  • Demonstrated results in managing sales people.
  • Demonstrated sales results with 5-7 years' experience.
  • Proven leadership, management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, general pc navigation, contact management system and sales analytical tools).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Optical sales experience preferred
