Your Role

Branch Operations Managers play a critical role in the success of our business by providing leadership to our Operations Team. In this position, you lead with optimism, accountability, and alignment, modeling the Grabber core values. Creates a positive culture that inspires, energizes and encourages each other at the local branch. Fosters connected relationships and great teamwork, empowers, and enables our team to learn and grow.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • -Hires, Trains, and Provides Leadership to the operations team within a branch.

  • -Organizes and oversees the schedules and performance of the operations team.

  • -Supervises drivers, warehouse associates, customer service representatives/managers.

  • -Motivates and encourages operations team to ensure goals are met.

  • -Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

  • -Reviews and analyzes operational and financial reports; uses data to project expenses.

  • -Collaborates with Regional Operations Manager to develop financial goals and strategies. Reports issues and incidents to Region Ops Manager in a timely manner... for safety, employee, customer incidents ensure these are done

  • -Assists in preparing operations budget and monitoring expenses.

  • -Generates and analyzes P&L reports. When requested, submits analysis to Regional Operations Manager.

  • -Collaborates well with the Sales Team to ensure Customer Service Excellence by assuring customersโ€™ needs are met. Works together with Sales to resolve customer complaints and issues.

  • -Communicates, with the Sales Team, any customer activity including industry and market trends, competitive actions, pricing situations and makes recommendations to capitalize on opportunities or minimize risk.

  • -Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient operations.

  • Interacts with customers.

  • -Partners with HR on recruiting, training and dealing with employee concerns.

  • -Ensures monthly cycle counts are performed.

  • -Manages inventory at branch level.

  • -Interacts with regional inventory managers to ensure proper inventory levels.

  • -Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

  • -Attend Annual Operations Meeting

  • -Performs all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • -3 Years Leadership and Management Experience

  • -Degree in Business or related field preferred

  • -Construction Industry Experience Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • -Demonstrated proactive, and professional oral and written communication skills required to effectively interact with all levels of company management staff and customers

  • -Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, and Outlook

  • -Proven ability to build and manage successful teams

  • -Ability to be tactical, results oriented, and strategic.

Work Conditions

  • -Time sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • -Inside, Warehouse, and outside

  • -Lifting capabilities 50 lbs

  • -Travel to annual operations meeting and travel to customers in local area /region as needed or upon request.
