Overview
We are seeking a strong proven leader and experienced facilities management professional with outstanding skills of a minimum of 3+ years experience and background in a corporate environment to join our team as a Workplace Services Facilities Manager in our Port Arthur, TX office. This position will be responsible for overseeing facilities operations, ensuring the office environments are being operated safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This includes coordinating building operations, vendor services, maintenance programs and workplace infrastructure to maintain a reliable and professional corporate office environment.fostering a professional and pleasant working environment by providing excellent customer service in the fields of general office services and facilities, maintenance and coordination in a corporate setting.
IST Management Services is a rapidly growing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) that also has an Intergrated Facilities Management (IFM) division and the largest American privately-owned facilities management company. Founded in 1997, the company is a two-time recipient of the Human Resources Professional Excellence Award granted by the Society for Human Resource Management. In addition, we also specialize in providing solutions for the management of physical and digital information through Workplace Services, eDiscovery, and Electronic Document Management services.

Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000 USD per year (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (on-call for after hours as needed)

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Workplace Services Facilities Manager is to oversee facilities operations, ensuring the office environments are being operated safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Oversee full daily facilities operations for the Port Arthur campus and support facilities coordination for offices in Houston TX
  • Ensure all office locations are maintained in a safe, functional, and professional manner while complying with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor facility conditions and address operational issues to maintain workplace readiness
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance programs, system inspections, and equipment repairs
  • Maintain working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, building automation systems (BAS), fire alarm systems, lighting controls, and backup power systems
  • Track and maintain facilities documentation (building records, project files, operational reports, contracts, and regulatory documentation)
  • Coordinate with global facilities teams to align processes and standards when appropriate

Qualifications
The qualifications of the Workplace Services Facilities Manager is to oversee facilities operations, ensuring the office environments are being operated safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Additional responsibilities include:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • 3 years or more experience and skilled in facilities management in a corporate setting environment required
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written with clients, vendors on a global scale - a must
  • Flexability with schedule required
  • Excellent organizational skills - a must
  • Must be an analytical and critical thinker
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) required
