Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented leader to manage the BP&A Renewables team. This role leads analytics for the Renewable segment and is accountable for forecasting and analysis of actual results. The position also manages an analyst supporting segment analytics. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, analytical capability, financial and business acumen, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all analytical needs for the Renewable segment, including requests from ELT, joint venture partners, business development, Finance, and BP&A.
  • Provide short-, mid-, and long-term forecasts for the segment.
  • Develop meeting materials for lookback and forecast discussions with the executive leadership team, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and decision readiness.
  • Handle ad hoc analytical requests related to the segment.
  • Guide the analyst to identify efficiencies and implement process improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across Renewable Commercial organizations by engaging stakeholders, clarifying expectations, and evolving team responsibilities as business needs change.
  • Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing analytical team by setting clear direction aligned with MPC strategic priorities, strengthening business acumen and analytical capabilities through targeted development, and coaching team members for growth and performance.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline required
  • Eight (8) years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Commercial or Related Field required
  • Experience presenting to senior management
  • Experience with financial models and financial analysis preferred
  • Experience in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar applications
