Job Description:
The North America B2B/Bio Finance Manager role is a trusted partner to the commercial teams leading unbranded fuels (B2B) and Biofuels within the Refining Supply & Midstream business and sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, operational performance, and financial outcomes. You'll be part of a high-performing team and partner directly with senior commercial and finance leaders to drive distinctive results in two key margin growth areas of the Midstream portfolio.
For high-potential individuals, this role presents a unique platform for development combining strategic planning, business partnership, and senior leadership exposure in a way that builds both depth and breadth of experience. The successful candidate will gain significant visibility across the organization through direct engagement with Operations, Commercial, and Finance leaders, while shaping key business decisions and influencing performance outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to broaden their impact, strengthen leadership capability, and build a strong foundation for future progression into broader finance or business leadership roles.
Key Accountabilities
  • Own B2B and Biofuels gross margin performance through understanding market strategy, volume targets, deal structures, and market dynamics and their impacts on financial results. A deep understanding of biofuels regulations, compliance, and associated financial impacts will be critical in this role.
  • Lead planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis, identifying key risks and opportunities for these parts of the business.
  • Investigate variances between actual performance and forecasts and partner with commercial teams to drive continuous improvement in forecasting and execution.

  • Proven ability to translate financial and operational data into clear, executive-ready insight, and to lead people and stakeholders through complexity
  • A natural influencer and change-maker who simplifies complexity and builds alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • Sharp analytics and commercial instincts, with comfort in modern reporting and analytics tools (Power BI, SAP, Excel, SQL).

Desirable criteria
  • Energy industry background particularly in supply, logistics, trading, or other commercially oriented environments.
  • Prior experience with biofuels or other traded compliance credits.
