Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our real estate business. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, tracking project expenses, processing payroll, managing invoices and payments, and assisting with budgeting and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain financial transactions accurately
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Process invoices, receipts, and vendor payments
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
  • Track expenses and budgets for real estate projects and renovations
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries
  • Assist with payroll processing and contractor payments
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Work with management to monitor cash flow and project profitability
  • Assist with tax preparation by organizing financial data for accountants
  • Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and policies

Qualifications

  • Previous bookkeeping, accounting, or finance experience preferred
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in real estate, construction, or property management is a plus
