Job description

The Boiler/Burner Service Technician independently maintains, inspects, and repairs commercial and industrial boilers. This role involves troubleshooting, supporting installation, and ensuring strict safety compliance during all service activities. Working primarily at indoor facilities and outdoor industrial sites, the technician uses both manual and computerized tools to perform preventive maintenance, replace parts, and respond promptly to emergencies. The role requires local travel and operates independently within client locations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on commercial and industrial boilers
  • Conduct thorough system inspections and diagnostics using manual and computerized tools
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical boiler components
  • Support boiler installation and commissioning activities
  • Ensure all maintenance and repairs comply with safety standards and regulations
  • Interact professionally with customers to explain issues and solutions
  • Accurately document service activities and parts used
